Maruti Suzuki Recall 19,731 Eeco Vans For Incorrect Rim Size Information | V3Cars

Maruti Suzuki India Limited have recalled 19,731 Eeco vans that are likely to be affected by incorrect rim size information. The recall consists of Eeco vans produced between 19 July, 2021 and 5 October, 2021.

As part of the recall, Maruti Suzuki will check 19,731 Eeco vans for incorrect rim size information. Authorised dealerships will contact Eeco owners for a free checkup. Maruti stated that the incorrect rim size information does not impact the performance or safety of the affected Eeco models.

If your Eeco van was manufactured or purchased within the aforementioned time period, you can check if it falls under the recall on Maruti Suzuki’s website. You can enter the vehicle information number (VIN) on the Maruti Suzuki website to know if your model is from the affected batch of Eeco vans.

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco comes with multiple seating options and is even available as a cargo van for commercial applications. It comes with a 1.2L normal petrol engine that produces 74PS of power at 6000rpm and 98Nm of torque at 3000rpm. Maruti Suzuki also offer the Eeco with a CNG option and the power and torque output of the Eeco CNG stand at 62PS and 85Nm respectively.
