In September 2024, the Nexa Invicto posted a 20% YoY drop in production. The offer on Invicto went live on October 8, 2024, which is the same date when BYD launched their eMax 7 MPV.
Now, with the launch of the BYD eMax7, Maruti Suzuki have a reason to get the Invicto moving off the lots or else buyers might get a taste of the BYD if they choose to test drive the car. The eMax 7 is much better put together and feels like a luxury car in terms of touchpoint feel and quality. Meanwhile, the Invicto has an SUV-like design but its interior touchpoint quality and feel is leagues behind the BYD. Before you even start considering the fuel cost savings, the BYD leaves an impression on a buyer, who has experienced a luxury car before.
