Maruti Suzuki launched the 2022 Baleno on February 23 this year. Within one month since it’s launch, the 2022 Baleno has received over 50,000 bookings. Apart from a revised design, the 2022 Baleno also offers new, segment-first features and better build quality than before.
Maruti Suzuki are yet to reveal which variant of the Baleno received the most bookings. However, we expect the Zeta, which sits just below the top variant of the Baleno, to be the best-selling variant of the Baleno. The 2022 Baleno comes with a 1.2L normal petrol engine that produces 90PS of power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 4400rpm. The engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT. The 2022 Baleno offers a claimed fuel economy of 22.35kmpl and 22.94kmpl for manual and automatic options respectively.
