Maruti Suzuki have silently updated the Baleno with more standard safety features. The 2023 Baleno offers electronic stability program (ESP) and hill hold control as standard. Maruti Suzuki also hiked the prices of the Baleno in January.

Earlier, the Baleno offered electronic stability program (ESP) bundled with hill hold control only in variants equipped with the automated manual transmission (AMT) and top-spec Alpha manual variant. With the 2023 model, the Baleno now offers ESP and hill hold control as standard on both manual and automated manual transmission variants.

Apart from the safety update, Maruti Suzuki also revised the prices of the Baleno. While the manual variants saw a price increase of Rs. 7,000, the AMT variants received a price hike of Rs. 12,000. Furthermore, the recently-launched CNG variants of the Baleno also saw a price increase of Rs. 2,000.

Apart from that, the Baleno has not received any other update. However, Maruti Suzuki will update the Baleno with BS6 phase 2 emission and E20 fuel compliant engine options soon. The carmaker revealed their plans to update their entire range with E20 fuel compliant engines by March 2023.
Furthermore, the updated Baleno now offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and turn-by-turn navigation for head-up display with the Zeta and Alpha variants. Existing owners of the Baleno can also update their infotainment systems to enable wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
