By keeping the Alto 800 on sale alongside the Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki will enable themselves to target the Renault Kwid from both the ends. The Alto 800 will rival the Kwid 0.8L whereas the Alto K10 will rival the Kwid 1.0L. However, it is worth noting that the Kwid offers more features and an SUV-inspired stance, compared to the subpar features and hatchback styling of the Alto 800.
