Maruti Suzuki are set to launch the new Alto K10 on August 17. While it’s specifications and variant details were leaked recently, it’s fuel efficiency figure is not known yet. However, we expect the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 to beat its sibling, the Celerio, to the crown of becoming the most fuel-efficient hatchback in India. Here’s how.

2022 Alto K10 To Share Engine With Celerio

The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will not only share its platform with the Celerio, but also its 1.0L normal petrol engine. Currently, the Celerio is the most fuel efficient hatchback sold in the country, with an ARAI-certified rating of 26.88kmpl. However, with the Alto K10 expected to be smaller and lighter, we expect it to offer more kilometres per litre.
