Maruti Suzuki India recently increased the prices of the Alto by up to Rs. 15,500. After this price revision, the Alto's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 3.54 lakh and tops out at Rs. 5.13 lakh. The new January 2023 prices are between 1.99% and 4.42% higher than before.

Prices of the Alto 0.8L normal petrol went higher by up to Rs. 15,500 and the VXI Plus manual variant witnessed the biggest price change. In terms of percentage, for the Alto 0.8L normal petrol, the STD (O) manual variant saw the biggest price increase of 4.42%.

The prices of the Alto 0.8L normal CNG are now higher by up to Rs. 10,000. The Alto LXI (O) manual variant changed by as much as Rs. 10,000. For the Alto 0.8L normal CNG, the LXI (O) manual variant got the biggest price increase of 1.99%.
