In this article, we’ll list out the waiting periods for the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga based on specific variants and powertrain configurations.
Disclaimer: The waiting periods mentioned here are tentative and likely to vary depending on the stock available with the dealer for a specific colour-engine-transmission-variant combination. Considering Maruti’s production process, this should give you some idea of how long you may have to wait to take delivery of the Ertiga. While these are primarily applicable for the northern region, the Ertiga waiting period mentioned here should more or less align for the rest of the country as well.
The LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus variants of the Ertiga petrol-manual and petrol-auto command a waiting period of up to 8 - 10 weeks. The Ertiga CNG variants have a waiting period of up to 4 months.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is priced between Rs. 8.69 lakh to Rs. 13.03 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets 2 engine options – a 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L CNG bi-fuel. The normal petrol engine is offered with 2 transmission options – a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter – while the CNG is only available with the 5-speed manual transmission.
The Ertiga rivals other MPVs like its Toyota counterpart, the Rumion as well as the Renault Triber, Mahindra Marazzo, and Kia Carens.
