The Jimny 5-door uses the same 1.5L normal petrol engine as the Ciaz, albeit without the mild hybrid technology. Furthermore, the 1.5L normal petrol engine of the Jimny is also different from the one in the Brezza, since the former lacks Suzuki’s dual-jet technology. Hence, the Jimny is considerably less fuel efficient than the Brezza and Ciaz. Another reason for the Jimny’s lower fuel efficiency figure is its boxy and less aerodynamic design.

Take a look at the engine specifications of the Jimny 5-door:
The Jimny 5-door comes with a 1.5L normal petrol engine. It produces 105PS of power at 6000rpm and 134Nm of torque at 4000rpm. It comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Both options come with 4-wheel drivetrain as standard.
