We have learned recently that Maruti Suzuki will organise the media drives of the Jimny around the middle of May 2023. This means that you should have the reviews flooding your social media and YouTube timelines by May 20th for you to consume on the weekend. It’s unclear when the prices could become official. Maruti Suzuki may reveal the prices soon after the media drive. But there’s also incentive in holding on to it and let the reviews brew a while before the prices come out.

The impact of the Jimny is visible on the Thar as Mahindra introduced the 1.5L diesel engine with 2WD days before Maruti Suzuki were planning to reveal the Jimny. Mahindra are also getting ready to bring the 5-door version of the Thar, which will help meet the needs of the buyers who want to use the Thar as a daily driver and a family car.
