Mercedes-Benz has confirmed its plan to launch 15 cars in 2021. The carmaker will kick off things with the launch of the A-Class Limousine that debuted at the 2020 Auto Expo. Bookings for the sedan are underway and it was supposed to go on sale in the second half of 2020, but was delayed due to the covid-19 outbreak. The A-Class sedan will replace the CLA in the carmaker’s India lineup. It will go on sale in April 2020 and is expected to be priced around Rs 35 lakh. It will take on the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe.

The A-Class will be followed by the launch of the second-gen GLA SUV, which also debuted at the 2020 Auto Expo. Along with these, Mercedes-Benz has also confirmed the India launch of the sportiest version of the AMG GTR. Christened the AMG GT Black Series, it is powered by a 4.0L V8 bi-turbo petrol engine making 720PS and 800Nm. The performance car can go from 0-100kmph in around 3 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz has not yet confirmed names of other cars that will go on sale in India, but we expect the brand-new S-Class and the facelifted E-Class to come to India in 2021.
