MG India recently increased the prices of the Astor by up to Rs. 41,800. After this price revision, the Astor's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 10.52 lakh and tops out at Rs. 18.69 lakh. The new May 2023 prices are between 1.41% and 2.77% higher than before.

No variants of the Astor were discontinued by MG.
Prices of the Astor 1.5L normal petrol went higher by up to Rs. 41,800 and the Smart automatic variant witnessed the biggest price change. In terms of percentage, for the Astor 1.5L normal petrol, the Smart automatic variant saw the biggest price increase of 2.77%.
MG are yet to reveal the updated prices of the MG Astor EX variants, which get less safety features than the variants they are based on. However, before the recent price hike, the Style EX manual, Super EX manual and Smart EX manual were priced Rs. 6,000 lower than their corresponding Style, Super and Smart manual variants. The Sharp EX manual variant, on the other hand, was priced Rs. 12,000 lower than the Sharp manual variant of the Astor. We expect the price difference between the Style EX, Super EX, Smart EX and Sharp EX and their corresponding standard variants to remain the same.
The prices of the Astor 1.4L turbo petrol are now higher by up to Rs. 36,000. The Astor Sharp automatic variant changed by as much as Rs. 36,000. For the Astor 1.4L turbo petrol, the Sharp automatic variant got the biggest price increase of 2.03%.
