MG have been drip feeding information about the upcoming Windsor EV as we get closer to the launch event. While MG have been calling it a crossover, we have been reluctant to do so as the profile of the car looks much more like a hatchback or an MPV.

In our books, it needed to deliver on the ground clearance front with at least 180mm to earn the crossover badge. Based on the exclusive information we have received from our source, the Windsor will deliver on this front with a healthy, SUV-like 186mm ground clearance.

In addition to this, our source also confirmed to us the other dimension details. Here are the full dimensions of the upcoming India-spec MG Windsor EV:

MG Windsor EV — Launch, Delivery Timeline

We expect MG to start accepting deliveries soon after the price announcement on September 11, 2024. However, deliveries might start on October 3, 2024, as that’s when the inauspicious Shradh ends and the auspicious Navratri starts. Being a foreign brand, whether MG care about the Indian festivals or not is irrelevant as the buyers in India do. So, they have to time the price announcement and deliveries accordingly.

Stay tuned to V3Cars for more information on the MG Windsor EV as we continue to get drip fed exclusive details about the car before the launch directly from our source.
