We expect the 2022 ZS EV’s range to take a substantial leap forward thanks to the bigger battery pack. Interestingly, MG have tuned the power and torque figures differently. The current ZS EV, with its 44kWh battery pack, puts out 143PS of power and 350Nm of torque. However, the 2022 ZS EV will offer a significant bump in power, at 176PS, but less torque, at 280Nm. ZS EV

In terms of design, the 2022 ZS EV looks very similar to the petrol-powered Astor. Key differentiators between the ZS EV and Astor include an enclosed grille with a charging port, aerodynamically-efficient alloy wheels, and electric badging on the side fenders. The MG ZS EV will borrow the LED headlights and taillights from the Astor as well. Apart from the exterior updates, the ZS EV will also get several changes on the inside, including new features.
