MG Motor India have updated the ZS EV with a new top-spec Exclusive Pro variant that offers Level-2 ADAS features. Read on to know more about the updated MG ZS EV.

MG ZS EV Now Gets Level-2 ADAS

MG Motor India have updated their best-selling electric vehicle with Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features. The ZS EV’s ICE counterpart — the Astor — already offers Level-2 ADAS features and the same features are now also available with the ZS EV. The ZS EV offers upto 17 ADAS features with variable sensitivity of low, mid and high.

  • Intelligent headlight control

MG ZS EV Powertrain Specifications

MG have not made any changes to the powertrain of the updated ZS EV. It continues to come with a 50.3kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 461km on a single charge. It gets a front-mounted electric motor that produces 177PS of power and 280Nm of torque. In terms of charging, the ZS EV can juice up its battery from 0-80% in under an hour with a DC fast charger while a full 0-100% charge via an AC home charger takes around 9 hours.

The Exclusive Pro variant of the ZS EV commands a premium of Rs. 60,000 over the Exclusive variant. The MG ZS EV goes up against other affordable electric SUVs like the Tata Nexon EV Max and Mahindra XUV400. However, with the addition of ADAS features, it now also rivals the likes of the BYD Atto 3 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
