Official - Grille Design And New Logo For Mahindra XUV700 Revealed

by Mahesh Yadav on Monday, Aug 09 2021

Continuing the streak of teasers, Mahindra today revealed their new logo, which will debut on the upcoming XUV700 grill. The new logo looks like two sharp wedges paired to resemble a butterfly. Following the outline gives it the shape of the letter ‘M’.

The new badge will go on all Mahindra SUVs, which is pretty much all passenger vehicles in their portfolio. The teaser confirms that besides the new XUV700, the XUV300 and the Thar will also wear this new badge.

Along with the logo, Mahindra also exposed the grille design of the XUV700. It carries forward the familiar 6-vertical slat pattern with 3 slats each on either side of the logo.

We had previously reported on the Mahindra XUV700, which was spotted undisguised. Around the same time, Mahindra pushed out another teaser for the SUV.

    Mahindra XUV700 Prices - Expected

The XUV700 looks a lot like an improved XUV500 but the naming suggests that Mahindra may position it a notch above the XUV500. A refreshed XUV500 may launch later and the two cars may co-exist. For now, the XUV700 will have to compete with the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus. All of these cars offer captain seats in the second row and we can expect the same in the XUV700 as well.

Since the XUV700 will become the only car in the segment with all-wheel drive capabilities, we’re expecting Mahindra to capitalize on this USP and price it between Rs. 16 and 22 lakh (ex-showroom).

    Mahindra XUV700 2021 Launch Date - Expected

In the past, Mahindra have demonstrated their patriotic roots and they usually launch or reveal new models on a national holiday. We are also expecting the XUV700 to make a public appearance around the Independence day holiday. The prices may be revealed on the same day or a couple of weeks later.
