Honda Cars India are all set to reveal the Elevate SUV on June 6, 2023. Ahead of its global debut, a new set of images of the Elevate testing in Japan recently surfaced online. Read on to know more about the production-ready Elevate SUV.

While the Honda Elevate test car that was spotted was wrapped in camouflage, we are confident that it is hiding its production-ready form and features underneath. If we talk about the details that are visible to the eyes, the Elevate will offer gloss-black alloy wheels, which could measure up to 17-inches in size. Furthermore, the rear of the Elevate will feature split LED tail lights and it could also incorporate a connected lightbar. Apart from that, the Elevate is likely to offer a boxy stance thanks to flat body panels and a slightly raked windscreen.

The biggest highlight of the Honda Elevate is likely to be its advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features. Currently, the MG Astor is the only C-segment SUV to offer ADAS features and the Honda Elevate could soon join the party and ‘elevate’ customer experience.
Take a look at the expected ADAS features of the Elevate SUV:

The recently released top view of the Honda Elevate confirmed that the SUV will offer a single pane sunroof, unlike its rivals which offer panoramic sunroofs. Other feature highlights of the Elevate could include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6 airbags, 360-degree parking camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, front and rear armrests, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers.

The Honda Elevate is likely to come with a 1.5L normal petrol engine borrowed from the City sedan. In the City, the 1.5L normal petrol engine produces 121PS of power at 6600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4300rpm. Transmission choices for the normal petrol engine could include a 6-speed manual and a 7-step CVT. Like the City e:HEV, Honda could also launch a hybrid version of the Elevate with the same 1.5L strong hybrid engine mated to an eCVT.
As we stated earlier as well, Honda will reveal the Elevate on June 6, 2023. We expect the carmaker to officially commence bookings for the C-segment SUV in the coming weeks. However, a few dealerships have already started accepting unofficial bookings for the Honda SUV. Honda are likely to launch the Elevate SUV in August 2023. When launched, the Honda Elevate will rival other C-segment SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
