In this Q4 2022 MPVs quarterly cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of MPVs for the previous year. We’ll also compare the YoY and QoQ change to find out which MPVs’ sales improved and which ones declined.

Q4 2022 - MPVs Quarterly Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Ertiga was the top selling car in the category with over 36,000 units sold in Q4 of 2022 and also saw a growth of 16.5% in sales numbers
Kia Carens was the top gaining car amongst the mass-market cars with over 18% growth
Innova saw a decline of 60% and became the top losing car
Innova’s direct rivals, Carnival form Kia also reported a decline of over 16% in Q4 2022 over Q4 2021
While Ertiga saw a gain of 16%, its sister XL6 saw a YoY growth of 5.3% in Q4 2022

Q4 2022 - MPVs Quarterly Car Sales Figures - QoQ Change

Among MPVs, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Eeco were the top 2 sellers in Q4 2022. The Eeco, which barely fell shy of 38,000 dispatches in Q3, saw just over 26,500 quarterly dispatches in Q4 2022, which was a decline of over 29%
Innova is still the top losing car in QoQ comparison with over 70% decline in sales
Only winners in this comparison are Marazzo with 126% growth, Vellfire with 12% growth and Ertiga with over 29% growth
