In this Q4 2022 segment-wise quarterly cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of segment-wise for the previous year. We’ll also compare the YoY and QoQ change to find out which segment-wise cars’ sales improved and which ones declined.

Q4 2022 - Segment Wise Quarterly Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

In terms of YoY change, the D1-segment was the biggest gainer, posting a YoY growth of 45%
The D1-segment was followed by the C and B2-segments, with YoY growth of 33% and 29% in Q4 2022, respectively
In terms of YoY comparison, all segments witnessed growth except the A-segment, which witnessed a decline of 16% on the YoY comparison analysis for Q4 2022

Q4 2022 - Segment Wise Quarterly Car Sales Figures - QoQ Change

In terms of QoQ comparison for the Q4 of 2022, all the segments saw a decline in their sales figures, except C-segment, which saw a growth of 19.25% QoQ in Q4
Among the falling segments, A-segment was the top losing with 30% decline in the QoQ comparison for Q4 2022
D2-segment and D1-segment saw the second highest QoQ decline of all, of around 29% and 20%, respectively
B2-segment dispatches saw the lowest decline in QoQ comparison (7.5%)
