Renault's upcoming 3-row SUV was spotted testing in Chennai once again. Based on the 2026 Duster, the larger SUV is expected to launch in India in late 2026 or early 2027 and serve as Renault's new flagship offering.

The latest spy image provides a clear look at the SUV's side profile, highlighting its stretched proportions and larger rear section compared to the standard Duster.
The latest test mule confirms several design changes over the 5-seat Duster. Visible highlights include longer rear overhang, an extended roofline, larger rear quarter glass, roof rails, chunky wheel arch cladding, extended roof spoiler and upright SUV proportions
The longer rear section is expected to accommodate a 3rd row of seats, making the SUV a more practical family offering than the standard Duster.

While Renault are yet to reveal the interior, the flagship SUV is expected to offer a feature-rich cabin just like the 2026 Duster. One can expect it to offer features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a fully digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, powered driver's seat, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, ADAS and multiple airbags

Renault have already confirmed plans to introduce strong hybrid technology in India with the 2026 Duster. The upcoming 3-row SUV is expected to share the same 1.8L strong hybrid powertrain that is set to debut in the Duster around the festive season this year.
Renault and Nissan are also working with Horse Powertrain to localise hybrid powertrains in India, which should help reduce costs and make hybrid variants more competitively priced.

We expect Renault to launch the 7-seater Duster in India in late 2026 or early 2027, following the introduction of the Duster strong hybrid variants. Once launched, Renault's flagship SUV is expected to rival the Mahindra XUV7XO, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar as well as the MG Hector Plus
