Tata Motors have released a new video showcasing the exterior design of the upcoming Sierra EV ahead of its official debut on June 30, 2026. The latest teaser offers the clearest look yet at the electric SUV, confirming that Tata have retained the iconic Sierra styling while incorporating the brand's familiar EV-specific design elements.

Tata Sierra EV Exterior Fully Revealed Ahead Of June 30 Launch

Earlier this month, Tata confirmed that the Sierra EV will offer a dual-motor 4WD drivetrain. With the latest reveal, we now have a complete look at the electric SUV's exterior ahead of its launch.

Tata Sierra EV Gets Subtle EV-Specific Styling Changes

As expected, the Sierra EV follows Tata's established formula for converting ICE models into EVs. The overall design remains largely identical to the standard Sierra, with changes focused mainly on the front fascia.

Key exterior highlights include:

  • Body-coloured closed-off front grille
  • Connected LED DRL light bar
  • Full-width LED tail lamps
  • Gloss black front bumper inserts
  • Silver skid plate elements
  • Sierra.ev badges on doors and tailgate
  • 19-inch alloy wheels

Unlike the ICE-powered Sierra, the EV version omits the "Sierra" lettering below the front light bar and adopts a cleaner front-end design.

Tata Sierra EV Battery And Drivetrain Options Expected

While Tata are yet to confirm specifications, we expect the Sierra EV to close the gap between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in terms of battery capacity and drivetrain specifications. Hence, we expect the Sierra EV to get 55kWh and 65kWh battery pack options. You can know more about the logic behind these expected battery and electric motor specs by clicking the link below:

Given Tata's recent confirmation of a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup, the top variants of the Sierra EV are expected to offer 4WD capability, while lower variants are expected to offer a single-motor rear-wheel-drive layout.

Since the Sierra EV is expected to be lighter than the Harrier EV, its claimed range could exceed the Harrier's 627km figure.

Tata Sierra EV Launch, Expected Price And Rivals

The Tata Sierra EV will make its full debut on June 30, 2026, where Tata are expected to reveal its interior, battery specifications and range figures.

We expect the Sierra EV to be priced between Rs. 18 lakh and Rs. 25 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in Tata's electric SUV lineup.

Key rivals will include the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV and Maruti e Vitara. However, the Sierra EV's optional 4WD drivetrain could give it a unique advantage in this segment.
