In this September 2022 MG cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of MG for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which MG car’s sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all MG cars.
September 2022 - MG Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- The ZS EV recorded a YoY growth of 82% in September 2022 and was the top-gainer for Morris-Garages India
- The Hector and Hector Plus pair reported a decline of 23%, and were the only models which saw decline in production numbers in September YoY comparisons
- The Astor hasn’t been in the market long enough to warrant a YoY comparison, but it was the second best-selling car from MG in September 2022.

September 2022 - MG Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- The Astor showed a 26% MoM decline while the Gloster saw a massive growth of 68% for the second consecutive month
- The other two models from MG showed some growth — almost 10% for Hector/Hector Plus twins and about 4% for the ZS EV
