Under the hood, the Superb Corporate Edition comes powered by a single choice of a 1.8 litre TSI petrol mill which has the capability of generating a max power output of 178 PS at 4,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 320 Nm at 1,450 rpm. The petrol engine gets paired with a 6 speed manual transmission gearbox.
According to Skoda, the company has launched the new Skoda Superb Corporate Edition exclusively for the existing corporate customers. After the model gets enough attention from the targeted customers, the company will decide whether or not to offer the new Corporate Edition for the general Indian car buyers.
The new Skoda Superb Corporate Edition model has been priced at Rs. 23.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, across India). In the Indian car market, the Skoda Superb luxury sedan model fights with the likes of the Toyota Camry Hybrid and its own cousin Volkswagen Passat. The introduction of the Superb Corporate Edition in India has been timed well by Skoda, as the festive season is round the corner and the Indian car buyers prefer buying new cars during this auspicious period.
