Exclusive: 2024 Tata Curvv Top Model To Get These 3 Segment-First Features | V3Cars
In addition to a unique coupe SUV style, the Tata Curvv 2024 will bring these 3 segment-first features, which aren’t available in any other C-segment SUV.

Note: We also have access to the full feature list of the top model of the Tata Curvv (Accomplished). You can click on the following link to check it out:
Exclusive: Tata Curvv Petrol/Diesel Full Feature List Confirmed
1. Powered Tailgate
While many other cars bring the hands-free tailgate feature, the Tata Curvv will also offer powered tailgate. The most affordable car with a power opening and closing boot lid is currently the Hector and Hector Plus, which is a D-segment car. The Curvv is the first car to bring this feature to the C-SUV segment.
2. Flush Door Handles
Just like the powered tailgate, flush door handles are also only available in SUVs starting from the D segment. The XUV700 is the most affordable car with flush door handles. Its affordable variants get manual flush door handles while higher variants get automatic extending handles. We expect the Tata Curvv to also get similar treatment where only the higher variants get automatic extending door handles with flush fitting design.

3. Touch-based Steering-mounted Controls
While the first feature in this list is useful for all car buyers and the 2nd may not divide opinions, the last one is somewhat controversial. The Curvv higher variants will also get touch-based steering-mounted controls. Because of the limited tactile feel, many people prefer mechanical keys.
We saw Honda move from touch-based AC controls of the 4th gen City to knobs and buttons in the 5th generation after receiving feedback from customers. However, for the steering, if Tata manage to implement it well, then it can offer a good experience. We have seen such features executed quite well in luxury cars like Mercedes-Benz.
