Tata have launched the 2026 Curvv Series X at prices ranging from Rs. 9.99 lakh to Rs. 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Curvv gets 6 main variants with 26 configurations, down from 42 earlier. Tata have also redistributed features and simplified the engine-transmission combinations across the range.

The Curvv Series X is available in Smart X, Pure X, Pure X Plus, Creative X Plus, Accomplished X and Accomplished X Plus variants. Dark versions are also available with select variants.
The following table lists the Curvv Series X prices:
*The Accomplished X Plus gets the more powerful 1.2L ‘Hyperion’ turbo petrol engine instead of the 1.2L ‘Revotron’ turbo petrol offered with the lower variants.
The new Rs. 9.99 lakh starting price is Rs. 23,010 higher than the outgoing Curvv Smart petrol-manual, which cost Rs. 9,75,990.
However, Tata have reduced prices at several points higher up the range while also changing the feature combinations. The tables below compare variants with broadly similar feature packages:
The base Curvv is slightly more expensive than before, but the value improves further up the range. The Pure X costs slightly less than the outgoing Pure Plus despite getting several meaningful feature upgrades.
The Pure X Plus is broadly comparable to the outgoing Creative in terms of its positioning and equipment, while costing Rs. 47,000 less. The Creative X Plus is Rs. 85,000 cheaper than the outgoing Creative Plus S.
The Pure X costs Rs. 27,000 less than the outgoing Pure Plus, while the Pure X Plus undercuts the old Creative by Rs. 67,000. The Creative X Plus costs Rs. 1.05 lakh less than the outgoing Creative Plus S.
Tata have also reduced the petrol manual-to-DCT premium from Rs. 1.50 lakh on the outgoing Curvv to Rs. 1.30 lakh on Series X.

The biggest change is that the Curvv range is now much easier to understand. The outgoing Curvv had 8 regular variants and 2 Dark variants. Once the different petrol, diesel, manual and DCT combinations were added, buyers had 42 configurations to choose from. The Curvv Series X cuts that down to 26 configurations, built around 6 main variants - Smart X, Pure X, Pure X Plus, Creative X Plus, Accomplished X and Accomplished X Plus.
Tata have also made the lower variants better value for money. The Pure X is a good example. At Rs. 10.99 lakh, it costs Rs. 7,000 less than the outgoing Pure Plus but gets a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto AC, push-button start and Wi-Fi connectivity with GPS. The outgoing Pure Plus had a 7-inch touchscreen with 4 speakers, wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and electric temperature control. Features such as cruise control, reversing camera, TPMS and 3 drive modes were already available on the outgoing Pure Plus.

Tata have also done away with the plain steel-wheel treatment of the outgoing lower variants. The base Smart X now gets 17-inch Aero Style wheels, while the Pure X Plus upgrades to 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and the Creative X Plus gets 18-inch diamond-cut alloys.
Higher up the range, Tata have also confirmed more equipment for the Accomplished X and Accomplished X Plus, including Level 2 ADAS, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 9-speaker JBL audio system, ventilated front seats, a 6-way powered driver seat, twin-zone climate control and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. The Accomplished X Plus additionally gets a gesture-controlled powered tailgate.

The Dark range has become more accessible too. Earlier, the Curvv Dark was restricted to the top-spec Accomplished S and Accomplished Plus A variants. With Series X, Dark versions are available with the Pure X Plus, Creative X Plus, Accomplished X and Accomplished X Plus.
Tata have also revealed more details about the engineering behind the Curvv's improved rear-seat space. The front seatbacks are 10mm slimmer, while the rear seat is positioned 20mm further back and 10mm lower. These changes are intended to free up more room for rear-seat passengers.

The Curvv Series X continues with the same 3 engines and their outputs remain unchanged:
From Pure X to Accomplished X, choosing the petrol-DCT or diesel-MT costs Rs. 1.30 lakh more than the corresponding petrol-MT, and both powertrains cost the same. The petrol MT-to-DCT premium has also dropped from Rs. 1.50 lakh on the outgoing Curvv to Rs. 1.30 lakh.
Tata have simplified the powertrain choices as well. The Accomplished X Plus is available only with the 1.2L GDI turbo petrol-DCT or diesel-DCT. The diesel-DCT costs Rs. 25,000 more than the petrol-DCT.

The Curvv Series X is available in white (Pristine White), grey (Pure Grey), red (Nitro Crimson), blue (Opera Blue) and black (Carbon Black). The black colour is offered with the Dark variants, which start from Pure X Plus.
Colour availability differs between variants. Check out our separate story for the complete variant-wise Curvv Series X colour options.
