Tata Motors seems to leave no stones unturned for the 2018 Auto Expo. The automaker will reveal five new models as well as its integrated mobility solutions for the future at the event targeting the premium mass market segments. The vehicles include the X451 hatchback, H5 SUV and the Tigor Sport, all sporting the company's new Impact 2.0 design language. The Indian auto giant had officially teased all these models earlier in this month and now Tata Motors released new sketches of all these cars revealing few more details all set to be showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo next month. Let’s get to know better the X451 hatchback, H5 SUV and the Tigor Sport with the help of the released sketches.

    Tata X451 Hatchback

Looking at the newly released sketch, the hatch will get sharp lines all over with minimal curves while the shoulder-line gets a slight drop just below the A-pillar, similar to the Nexon, which then retreats into the taillight cluster. Also, to sit higher that could result in smaller rear windows; the rear door is sharply cut as well. While the wheel arches are massive, the rear windscreen is sharply raked with the roofline merging seamlessly giving it a feel like a coupe. On the other hand, the roof mounted spoiler gives the sporty touch to the upcoming X451 hatchback. Another promising feature of the concept is the cameras instead of ORVMs, however they won't make it on the production model but they certainly look futuristic. Underpinned by Tata's new AMP modular platform, this hatchback will take against the likes of the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz in the segment.

    Tata H5 SUV

Moving towards the H5 SUV by Tata, the concept previews the Harrier and Raptor (internal codenames) premium SUVs from the automaker. Although both these SUVs will be underpinned by the same chassis, the only difference we know at this point is that these models will differ in terms of being a 5-seater and 7-seater. Looking at the released sketch, we can see very strong details on the H5 concept like slim LED headlights, tri-arrow pattern for the fog lamps and a distinctive kink on the C-pillar as well as a sloping roofline on the H5 concept towards the rear, with the blacked out D-pillar merging into the raked rear windscreen as well as sharply design LED taillights. This concept also will sport massive wheel arches will house massive wheels like the X451 hatch concept.

    Tata Tigor Sport Concept

Talking about the Tigor Sport concept, this will be the performance version of the subcompact sedan. According to the released image, the concept will showcase completely new bumpers with massive air-intakes and red accents for the fog lamps as compared to the Tigor sedan. The features will include projector lamps with DRLs, while a small honeycomb grille will make it to the side panels along with a black-finished contrast roof and larger alloy wheels. Apart from these, what we can expect is a new rear bumper as well with more sporty profile. In terms of powertrain, while the standard Tata Tigor uses a 1.2-litre NA three-cylinder motor with 84 bhp, the Sport version is expected to use the 1.2-litre petrol engine from the Nexon with turbocharging with improved power over 100 bhp along with a reworked suspension and braking setup.

Stay tuned to V3cars.com for further updates on the Tata X451 hatchback, H5 SUV and the Tigor Sports Concept from the 2018 Auto Expo between 9-14 February, 2018.
