Tata Nexon Facelift Spotted With Connected LED Tail Lights | V3Cars
A new set of spy shots of the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift recently surfaced online. The latest images reveal the Nexon facelift’s connected LED tail light design. Tata Motors are likely to launch the Nexon facelift around the 2023 festive season.

Tata Nexon Facelift To Offer Connected LED Tail Lights
The new spy image of the Nexon facelift reveals the LED tail lights and a connected LED light bar. The tail lights on the upcoming Nexon facelift also seem to be a lot slimmer than units found on the current Nexon. Connected LED tail lights seem to be the latest design trend among mass-market cars. Apart from the Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue, even the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Hyundai Verna offer connected LED tail lights. Apart from the addition of connected LED tail lights, we expect the new Nexon facelift to also offer a revised front profile with split LED headlights and new alloy wheels.

Tata Nexon Facelift Interior Changes
Tata Motors are likely to offer major changes on the inside of the Nexon facelift. To begin with, it is likely to feature Tata’s new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and telematics. It could also feature the new 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, which made its debut with the new Safari and Harrier SUVs. Furthermore, the layout of the dashboard could also get a design overhaul and we expect Tata to improve the fit and finish levels over the current Nexon B2-segment SUV.
Tata Nexon Facelift Powertrain Details
The Tata Nexon facelift is likely to be powered by Tata’s new 1.2L turbo petrol engine. While the carmaker stated that this engine would make its debut with the Curvv SUV, we expect it to power the Nexon facelift first. The new 1.2L turbo petrol engine produces 125PS of power and 190Nm of torque. The new 1.2L turbo petrol will be available with an increased torque output of 225Nm version as well. However, this version of the engine will power bigger Tata cars like the Curvv. Furthermore, the 1.5L turbo diesel engine is likely to be carried as is in the Nexon facelift.

Tata Nexon Facelift Launch Timeline And Rivals
Since the Nexon is currently one of the oldest offerings in the B2-segment space, Tata Motors could bring the Nexon facelift to the market around October this year. It will rival the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai Venue facelift. Its other segment rivals include the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
