Tata Nexon Gets New Alloy Wheels | V3Cars

Tata Motors has silently introduced new alloy wheels on the Nexon SUV and the updated SUV has already started reaching dealerships.  It comes soon after Tata discontinued the Tectonic Blue shade on the sub-4m SUV. Recently, Tata also replaced the physical controls for the infotainment system with a ‘Nexon’ badging.

Tata Nexon gets alloy wheels only in the top three variants only: XZ+, XZ+(S) and XZ+(O). Save for the new alloys, the feature list remains unchanged on the Nexon. It gets features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto AC with rear AC vents, electric sunroof, iRA connected car tech, multiple driving modes, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, cruises control, height-adjustable driver’s seat, push-button start and Harman sound system. 

Safety features on offer include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, hill launch assist, traction control and electronic stability control. 

The Nexon is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine on offer is a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 120PS and 170Nm. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 1.5-litre unit making 110PS and 260Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AMT.

Prices of the Tata Nexon range from Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It will take on the likes of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport.
