Tata Tigor CNG Automatic Variants Bookings Open | V3Cars

Tata Motors have opened bookings for the Tigor CNG automatic variants for a token amount of Rs. 21,000. Equipped with an 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT), the Tigor CNG is the first CNG sedan in India to offer an automatic transmission. Read on to know more about the Tigor CNG AMT.

As mentioned above, interested customers can now book the Tata Tigor CNG automatic variants for an amount of Rs. 21,000. The Tigor CNG with AMT is available in 2 variants – XZA CNG & XZA+ CNG.

The Tigor CNG is offered with a 1.2L engine that can run on both petrol and CNG. When running on CNG, it offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.49km/kg. The 1.2L engine produces 73PS of power and 95Nm of torque when running on CNG. These figures increase to 86PS and 113Nm when running on petrol. The Tata Tigor CNG also gets Tata’s innovative twin CNG cylinder technology that helps liberate more boot space.

2024 Tata Tigor CNG Expected Price

Currently, the Tigor normal petrol automatic variants are priced at a premium of Rs. 60,000 over their corresponding manual variants. We expect Tata to charge a similar premium for the CNG-automatic variants too.

When launched, the Tata Tigor CNG will rival other CNG sedans like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG and Hyundai Aura CNG However, none of these rivals offer a CNG-automatic option yet.
