    Tata Tigor Lineup Expands With The Introduction Of New AMT Variants

    Indian auto major Tata Motors has announced that it is strengthening its Tigor subcompact sedan line-up by launching two new AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) variants, namely - XMA and XZA+.

    These two new Tata Tigor trim models come packed with premium features and will offer the added advantage of the effortless automatic transmission, especially on the busy traffic struck city roads. The Tigo XMA will be priced at Rs. 6.39 lakhs, while the Tigor XZA+ will be tagged at Rs. 7.24 lakhs (prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

    Both these new Tata Tigor AMT variants will be available on the 1.2L Revotron petrol engine only, with no power changes. The Variants will carry forward the design of the ongoing Tigor sedan without any choices and will be available in all the 7 exterior color options of the car.

    Exterior features will include 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, dual chamber projector headlamps with chrome bezels, power foldable ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators and break-free coupe-like sloping roofline among others.

    The new Tata Togor XZA+ AMT will be the new top-end petrol trim and will be laden with a whole host of premium features including the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a premium 8 speaker Herman music system.

    Both the new Tigor AMT variants come with 3 driving modes, premium Harman tuned the audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, foldable rear armrest with cup-holders, automatic temperature control, reverse parking sensors, and 24 smartly designed utility storage spaces.

    They will boast of safety features such as Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD, speed-dependent automatic door locking, Corner Stability Control, reverse parking sensors, and engine immobilizer.     

    The AMT variants also come with the added features such as anti-stall and crawl functions, which offer great convenience in stop-and-go traffic and while maneuvering in tight parking areas.

    With its competitive pricing and exceptional value, the XMA variant of the Tigor is set to attract new customers and should set itself apart as the most attractively priced automatic sedan in the market.

    The Tata Tigor subcompact sedan is available in India in both petrol and diesel versions, powered by the acclaimed 1.2L Revotron petrol and 1.05L Revotorq diesel engines, respectively.
