Toyota India Stop Bookings Of Innova Hycross ZX, ZX(O) | V3Cars

Toyota India have stopped accepting bookings for the top-spec ZX and ZX(O) variants of the Innova Hycross family mover. The bookings of other variants of the Innova Hycross will continue.

Innova Hycross ZX, ZX(O) Bookings Halted

Toyota launched the Innova Hycross in November 2022 with a choice of 2.0L normal petrol and 2.0L strong hybrid petrol powertrain options. Owing to the ongoing supply challenges, Toyota have halted the bookings for the ZX and ZX(O) variants of the Innova Hycross. Toyota assure that they are trying their best to resume bookings for the top-spec ZX and ZX(O) variants.

Since the ZX variants of the Innova Hycross are not currently available, the Innova Hycross offer its 2.0L normal petrol engine in G-SLF and GX variants and its 2.0L strong hybrid petrol engine in VX and VX(O) variants. The prices of the Innova Hycross start from Rs. 18.55 lakh and go up to Rs. 26.78 lakh for the VX(O) variant.

Toyota Innova Hycross Powertrain Details

The 2.0L normal petrol engine of the Innova Hycross produces 174PS of power at 6600rpm and 205Nm of torque between 4500rpm and 4900rpm. The 2.0L strong hybrid powertrain, on the other hand, offers 186PS of power and 206Nm of torque. The normal petrol engine comes with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) whereas the strong hybrid engine uses an e-CVT.

Toyota Innova Hycross Rivals

Toyota Innova Hycross locks its horns with other MPVs and SUVs like the Toyota Innova Crysta, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700 and Kia Carnival. It is worth mentioning that the Innova Hycross is the only vehicle in its class to offer a strong hybrid powertrain option.
