Tata Kite 5
Although the very popular compact sedan segment was created by the Tata Indigo, Tata Motors now lack a popular model in this segment. Thus, the Indian auto major is going to bring in its popular Tiago based Kite 5 compact sedan. The Tata Kite 5 is expected to be placed in the price bracket of Rs. 4 to Rs 6 lakhs. The upcoming Kite 5 is likely to get equipped by the same Revotron petrol and RevoTorq diesel mills that drive the Tiago hatchback. The fuel efficiency of the model is also expected to remain the same which is around 18 to 24kmpl. The Tata Kite 5 is slated to be launched in India in the first half of 2017.

The massively popular Maruti Suzuki Swift’s next generation model is set to launch in India in 2017. It is expected to be priced at around Rs. 4.5 to Rs. 6.5 lakhs. Next-gen Chevrolet Beat
The all new Chevrolet Beat is all set to come to India in the first half of 2017. The car’s price range is likely to be around Rs. 4.5 to 6.5 lakhs. Under the hood, it is going to get a 1.2L petrol and a 1.0L diesel motor, while mileage figures are going to be around 18kmpl to 25kmpl.
Tata Motors is also preparing its Pelican (code-name) hatchback, which is based on the Nano. It is supposed to offer more powerful performance, more feature equipped and better overall quality than the Nano. The Pelican is also powered by a 1.0L 3 cylinder petrol mill that will offer a fuel efficiency of over 20kml. The small hatchback is likely to be priced very affordably in the range of Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 3.5 lakh. The Tata Pelican is expected to launch towards the end of 2017.
Hyundai is going to reintroduce the massively popular Santro hatchback to India in its next generation model. The all new Hyundai Santro in India is likely to be priced in the range of around Rs. 3.5 to Rs. 5.5 lakhs. The next-gen Santro is likely to come with two engine choices, one of which is expected to be sub-1.0 liter, while the other above 1.0 liter. Mileage of the car is expected to be around 24kmpl. The next-gen Santro is expected to launch in India sometime in the year 2019.
