The 2023 Kia Carens with updated petrol and diesel engine options is now on sale. The Kia Carens’ new engines comply with the upcoming BS6 phase-2 and road driving emission norms.

The updated Kia Carens comes with a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine, which is offered as standard across all variants. The new 1.5L turbo petrol engine replaces the older 1.35L turbo petrol engine (1.4L turbo in Kia’s speak). It is worth mentioning that the new engine is available with a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT) and a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

With the update, Kia now offer the auto-clutch manual transmission with the diesel and turbo petrol engines of the Carens. However, the conventional manual transmission is no longer available with either the diesel or turbo petrol engine. It is worth mentioning that all 3 powertrain options of the Carens now comply with the BS6 phase-2 emission norms and the petrol engines are also E20 fuel ready.
The updated Kia Carens’ prices start from Rs. 10.45 lakh and go up to Rs. 18.95 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Take a look at the updated prices of the Kia Carens.

The base Premium 7-seater variant is now priced at Rs. 10.45 lakh, which is Rs. 25,000 more than the outgoing model. The top-spec Luxury Plus 7-seater diesel automatic variant is now priced at Rs. 18.95 lakh, which is Rs. 30,000 more than the outgoing model.
