The Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) have distributed 80 advanced motorized wheelchairs in Ghaziabad and Meerut under its Samarth by Hyundai CSR initiative. Each wheelchair provides a 15 km driving range, empowering persons with disabilities with improved mobility, dignity, and independence.

Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), today strengthened its commitment to inclusivity and social progress by distributing 80 advanced motorized wheelchairs to persons with disabilities in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad and Meerut districts under its ‘Samarth by Hyundai’ initiative.

The handover ceremony was graced by Shri. Laxmikant Bajpai, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, along with Mr. Jeongick Lee, Function Head - Corporate Affairs, Mr. Puneet Anand - AVP & Vertical Head - Corporate Affairs, Corporate Communication & Social, from HMIL and other dignitaries. The 80 assistive devices distributed across Ghaziabad (40 units) and Meerut (40 units) enable easy mobility, dignity and independence for the beneficiaries. Each wheelchair offers a driving range of up to 15 kilometres, designed to support convenient daily living by empowering users to carry out essential tasks with greater ease.
