Hyundai GST Price Cuts – All Hyundai Cars (Tentative Prices; Sep 22) | V3Cars

The recent GST revision for cars in India (effective September 22, 2025) could lead to significant price reductions across Hyundai’s portfolio. Small cars now attract 18% GST (down from 28%), while larger cars are taxed at 40% (versus ~43–50% earlier, including cess).

As a result, Hyundai customers can now expect savings ranging from Rs. 51,000 to over Rs. 2.40 lakh, depending on the model and variant.

Important Note: Please note that these are tentative prices sourced from a fairly reliable channel but Hyundai may choose to adjust the pricing a bit when they come into effect on September 22, 2025. Hyundai may increase or decrease their margins with certain models and variants to respect certain psychological barriers such as round figures.

1. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

2. Hyundai i20

The i20 hatchback is likely to get a price drop of up to 8.5% across most variants. The i20’s Asta (O) Knight petrol-automatic variant, which was introduced recently, is expected to get the biggest price drop of up to Rs. 96,800.

3. Hyundai Aura

Hyundai’s most affordable sedan, the 2025 Aura, is expected to get a price drop of around 8.5% across variants. In terms of the biggest price drop among the Aura variants, the top SX Plus petrol-automatic variant is expected to get a price drop of up to Rs. 76,300.

4. Hyundai Exter

Hyundai’s Exter small SUV is expected to get a price drop of around 8.5% across most variants. In terms of the biggest price drop among the Exter variants, the SX (O) Connect Knight DT petrol-automatic variant is expected to get a reduction of up to Rs. 90,000.

5. Hyundai Venue

The Venue, which is available with multiple engine and transmission choices, is expected to get a price drop of around 8.5% across most variants. The Venue’s top SX (O) DT diesel-manual variant is expected to get the biggest price drop of up to Rs. 1.34 lakh.

6. Hyundai Verna

Hyundai’s flagship sedan, the Verna, which is available with multiple engine options is expected to get a price drop of up to 3.5% across most variants. In terms of absolute amount, the post GST price drop of Hyundai Verna may stretch as far as Rs. 60,600 with the SX (O) turbo petrol-automatic variant.

7. Hyundai Creta

Hyundai’s best-selling SUV, the Creta, is expected to get a price drop of around 3.5% across variants, with the King Knight Dual Tone and King Limited variants, which were introduced recently, expected to get a price revision of up to Rs. 72,100

8. Hyundai Alacazar

Like the Creta, the Alcazar is expected to get a price drop of up to 3.5% across variants. In terms of absolute amount, the post GST price drop of Hyundai Alcazar may stretch as far as Rs. 75,300 with the Signature 6S dual-tone variant with diesel-automatic powertrain.

9. Hyundai Tucson

Hyundai’s flagship SUV in the Indian market, the Tucson, is expected to get the biggest price drop among Hyundai models.
