Mercedes-Benz announced a new CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ variant for the upcoming CLA BEV in India. The variant joined the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ version in the brand’s electric portfolio. Bookings for the all-new CLA BEV also commenced ahead of the vehicle’s India debut.

India’s most desirable luxury carmaker, Mercedes-Benz, announced the addition of a new variant, the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’, for the upcoming launch of the CLA BEV in India. The CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will be offered alongside the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ variant that will debut in the Indian market.

The CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will feature distinctive styling cues catering to diverse customer requirements in terms of both range and design. It will come with the ‘Progressive Line’ styling, including comfort seats, a multifunction sports leather steering wheel and two trim options.

The equipment levels of both the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ and CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ variants will remain the same, continuing Mercedes-Benz India’s commitment to offering high product substance and the latest technology as standard to its customers.

Mercedes-Benz also announced the commencement of bookings for both variants of the all-new CLA BEV. Bookings are now open with a payment of ₹1.5 lakh. Customers pre-booking the CLA BEV will also receive a complimentary wall box charger installation.

Upon its launch in India, the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will complement the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ version. The new variant has been introduced based on customer feedback seeking an additional option in the CLA BEV lineup, offering a driving range of 542 km alongside the CLA 250+ variant.

Deliveries for the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ and the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will begin from the end of April and June respectively.
