Pioneer India today announced the launch of its new Automotive 360° Surround View Camera System, designed to enhance driver safety and visibility in complex traffic conditions. As part of this milestone, Pioneer also revealed that it has secured an OEM customer in India, marking a major step forward in its growth strategy for the Indian market.

The 360° Surround View Camera System is engineered to provide drivers with a seamless bird’s-eye view of the vehicle’s surroundings, improving maneuverability in tight spaces, enhancing pedestrian awareness and reducing blind spots. With a compact design, ultra-wide-angle lenses and advanced image processing, the system delivers real-time stitched video output directly to the in-car display. It can be seamlessly integrated as a running change to existing car lines or be part of new model development.

Key Features of the Pioneer 360° Surround View System:

• Real-time composite bird’s-eye view from four HD/FHD wide-angle cameras
• Advanced image stitching and low-latency video processing
• Ruggedized build quality for high reliability in extreme environment and road conditions 
• Compatibility with standard and custom in-dash displays
• Fast auto-calibration reducing installation complexity 
• Full integration into OEM vehicle architecture with CAN support 

This product launch is being led by Pioneer’s Advanced R&D team in India as part of the company’s globalization strategy. This rollout marks a significant milestone — the first OEM deployment of Pioneer’s advanced camera technology in the Indian market, localized, manufactured and delivered by Pioneer India. This also marks an important milestone in Pioneer’s Make-in-India strategy.
