Students from Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) have secured the first and second positions at the Janatics Automation Skill Challenge 2025. Three TTTI teams reached the national finals, competing among 2,000+ engineering and technical students across India.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced that their Technical Training Institute (TTTI) students bagged the first and second position at the prestigious Janatics Automation Skill Challenge 2025. The 2-day event, hosted on 12th & 13th November at JSPM College of Engineering, Pune, is one of the largest national platforms for emerging automation talent and witnessed participation from over 2,000 Engineering, Diploma & ITI students across India.

A total of 12 teams advanced to the national stage, including three teams from TTTI. The ‘Titans’ team, comprising of Mr. Punit Kumar, Mr. Ajay Barik and Mr. Bhaskar G, Narasingol, secured First place, while the ‘Warriors’ team, Ms. Ankita Poojary, Ms. Sheethal A and Mr. Pratham S. R clinched the Second place along with the ‘Best Presentation’ accolade. The winners were felicitated by Mr. K. Ganapathy Subramaniam, AVP, Technical, Janatics, Mr. Sudhakar Gudipati VP, Bajaj Auto Ltd, and Mr. Charbel Nasr President, Famic Technologies.

TKM has built a robust skilling framework that blends advanced manufacturing practices with hands-on training. TTTI, established in 2007 at TKM’s Bidadi plant, is the foundation of this ecosystem. The fully residential three-year program focuses on empowering rural youth through holistic education, technical training, and personal development. With over 1,400 graduates and a 100% placement track record, TTTI alumni have consistently demonstrated excellence at both national and global skill platforms.

Aligning with TTTI’s Chi–Toku–Tai concept (Chi - academics, Toku - richness of mind, Tai - healthy body), students are encouraged to participate in competitions, webinars, and hands-on learning platforms that nurture their mindset, discipline, and teamwork.

Adding to this milestone, Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) recently received the Kaushalya Karnataka Award for Best Institution in Skill Competitions, reaffirming Toyota’s leadership in building India’s future-ready workforce. At WorldSkills 2024 in Lyon, France, TTTI-trained participants achieved multiple Medallions of Excellence, reinforcing the institute’s reputation for producing globally competitive technicians.
