The most notable feature of the Toyota Innova Hycross MPV is its hybrid powertrain and the captain seats in the 2nd row with ottoman and tray tables. Apart from a normal 2.0L petrol engine, the Innova Hycross also comes with a 2.0L hybrid petrol engine with a claimed fuel efficiency of 21.1kmpl. Toyota Innova Hycross Specs

The Toyota Innova Hycross is available with 2 engine options: a 2.0L normal petrol engine and a 2.0L strong hybrid petrol engine. The 2.0L normal petrol engine makes 174PS of power at 6600rpm and 204Nm of torque between 4500rpm and 4900rpm. This engine is available with a CVT transmission. The 2.0L petrol hybrid engine makes 186PS of power at 6600rpm and 206Nm of torque between 4400rpm and 5200rpm. This engine is also available with a CVT transmission.

The Innova Hycross is a D2-segment MPV as it measures 4755mm long, 1850mm wide, 1795mm tall and sports a wheelbase of 2850mm. The Toyota Innova Hycross has a boot space of 300 litres with all seats upright. Here’s how the Innova Hycross stacks up against its rivals in terms of dimensions:

Toyota Innova Hycross Launch Timeline

While Toyota have revealed the Innova Hycross and even conducted media drives of the MPV, they are yet to reveal its prices. We expect Toyota to reveal the prices of all variants of the Hycross and launch it at the Auto Expo 2023.

Toyota Innova Hycross Expected Price

The new Innova Hycross is based on a unibody frame and a much smaller 2.0L normal petrol engine. So, Toyota are saving some costs in these areas. However, we don’t expect Toyota to sell the Innova Hycross at a lower cost than before as it could dilute the Innova brand. So, instead, we’re expecting Toyota to pass on the savings in manufacturing cost in the form of an automatic transmission as the Hycross is not available with a manual in any variant.
