Maruti Suzuki Spresso 1.0L, 3-cylinder petrol engine makes 68PS of maximum power and 90Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT type automatic transmission. The Maruti Suzuki Spresso petrol manual has a mileage of 21.4kmpl while the automatic claims to deliver a fuel-efficiency figure of 21.7kmpl.
The Spresso and the Celerio have similar power and torque output. While the S-Presso has a slightly better torque-to-weight ratio for good drivability, the Celerio’s new petrol engine has a significantly better mileage figure.
