Skoda is grabbing limelight constantly either with new models or fascinating concept cars. The Czech car maker is now bracing up to introduce the performance oriented version of its flagship SUV Kodiaq. Named as the Skoda Kodiaq vRS, this hot premium SUV is currently busy testing the famous tracks of Nurburgring. Skoda is currently building the buzz around its upcoming Kodiaq RS by releasing teaser images and videos of the performance vehicle. As the official unveiling of the Kodiaq vRS is approaching, Skoda has released a video of the fully camouflaged Kodiaq vRS SUV at the Nurburgring with racing driver Sabine Schmitz at its wheel. Skoda’s video demonstrates the rigorous preparations before the Kodiaq vRS' successful record run on the Nurburgring's celebrated Nordschleife tracks.
The Skoa Kodiaq vRS 7-seater performance SUV has been fully updated to achieve its hot SUV status. When the under the hood mechanical bits are concerned, the Skoda Kodiaq vRS is most likely to get equipped with the 2.0 litre four cylinder TDI engine, which has the ability churn out a maximum power output of 237 bhp along with a top torque of 500. The power figures might be hiked up for the Kodiac RS version to offer more powerful performance and faster acceleration. Being a premium performance SUV, the Skoda Kodiaq RS will be coming equipped with an All Wheel Drive (AWD) system as part of the vehicle’s standard package. The new upcoming Skoda Kodiaq vRS is expected to make its world premiere at the 2018 Paris Motor Show in October. The Kodiaq RS will be further expanding the growing SUV lineup of the Czech automaker. At present, Skoda offers the Kodiaq and the Karoq, while the carmaker is also working on another compact crossover model to join the lineup soon. The Skoda Kodiaq vRS will sit at the top of this SUV lineup.
