For the Trailhawk, Jeep will offer a retuned suspension with better ground clearance than the standard Compass. In addition to that, the Compass Trailhawk will get functional add-ons like all-terrain tyres, terrain response modes with rock crawl, dynamic steering torque, and hill descent control. The Compass Trailhawk will get a 20:1 crawl ratio thanks to the addition of a low range gearbox. The Compass Trailhawk also offer water fording capacity of up to 19 inches and towing capacity of 1500kg.

Like the Compass facelift, the Trailhawk facelift will get features like a floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, powered and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a digital instrument cluster.
