2022 MG ZS EV Facelift Launching Tomorrow | V3Cars

MG Motor India will launch the 2022 update of their ZS electric SUV tomorrow. Along with the prices, MG will also reveal how far it can go on a single charge, which is still a secret. The older model of the ZS EV had a claimed range of 452km. We expect the newer one to cross the psychological barrier of 500km making range anxiety a thing of the past for 2022 ZS EV buyers.

2022 MG ZS EV Facelift

The 2022 ZS EV facelift is likely to offer the following notable features:

  • Body-coloured and closed off grille
  • Larger 10.1-inch touchscreen
  • 360-degree camera
  • Auto AC
  • Telematics
  • Full-colour LCD instrument cluster
  • Multiple driving modes
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • LED headlamps
  • LED DRLs
  • Rear AC vents

There’s no information about whether the ZS EV will come with ADAS features or not. The more affordable Astor SUV’s top variants offer the advanced semi-autonomous features and we are still hoping that the more expensive ZS EV will also offer ADAS, at least in the top model.

According to leaked information, the 2022 ZS EV facelift will offer a larger 50.3kWh battery pack. The outgoing model had a 44.5kWh battery pack. The older ZS EV had a power and torque output of 143PS and 350Nm, respectively. The newer model makes 176PS but a lower 280Nm of torque.
