2023 Kia Seltos Facelift With Dual-Zone Climate Control

The new leaked image reveals the climate control cluster of the Seltos, which boasts switches for 2 individual temperature controls. It also gets the sync button to set a single temperature for the cabin along with other features like air flow direction and defogging. Since the model in the image lacks front seat ventilation, we expect the Seltos to offer dual-zone AC from its mid variant onwards.

Physical Controls Making A Comeback

We saw a paradigm shift from physical controls to touch-based controls in recent years. However, after listening to constructive criticism from both customers and automotive journalists, carmakers are reintroducing physical controls for basic functionalities. While the current Seltos comes with capacitive controls for multimedia, the facelift marks the return of physical controls, including rotary dials for volume and tuning.

Much-Awaited Panoramic Sunroof Is Finally Here

As reported by us earlier, the new Seltos facelift will offer a panoramic sunroof, which was one of the few features it lacked compared to the Hyundai Creta. While a panoramic sunroof doesn’t serve a functional purpose, it is one of the desirable features that customers expect from a C-segment SUV. A majority of C-Segment SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder already offer a panoramic sunroof.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Launch Timeline

While the Seltos facelift is all set to debut on July 4, 2023, Kia are tight-lipped about its launch timeline. However, since both Kia and Seltos celebrate their anniversary in August 2023, we think that the month of August is the perfect time to launch the Seltos facelift in India.
