Kia Seltos Facelift Panoramic Sunroof Confirmed

While an earlier spy shot of the Seltos facelift revealed the large panoramic sunroof, the official teaser of the upcoming Seltos facelift now confirms the presence of a panoramic sunroof. The outgoing Kia Seltos comes with a single-pane sunroof whereas its arch rivals, like the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, offer a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

Apart from that, the upcoming Kia Seltos facelift is also likely to offer the following features:

• Panoramic sunroof
• 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster
• Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
• Cabin air purifier
• Level-2 ADAS features

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Powertrain Details

The 2023 Kia Seltos is likely to offer the same set of normal petrol and turbo diesel engine options as the current model. Furthermore, Kia could also offer the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine in the Seltos as a replacement for the now discontinued 1.35L (1.4L in Kia’s speak) turbo petrol engine. The new 1.5L turbo petrol engine already powers other Kia and Hyundai offerings like the Kia Carens, Hyundai Alcazar and new Verna sedan. Kia are likely to offer a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Launch Details

While the Seltos facelift is all set to debut on July 4, 2023, the carmaker is tight-lipped about its launch timeline. However, since both Kia and Seltos celebrate their anniversary in August 2023, we think that the month of August is the perfect time to launch the Seltos facelift.
