The new spy shots of the Nexon facelift reveal a new steering wheel that looks similar to the one seen in the Curvv concept. It gets a flat horn pad flanked by new steering-mounted controls. Furthermore, the new Nexon facelift will also offer paddle shifters as seen in the spy shots. The current Nexon automatic, which is equipped with an automated manual transmission (AMT) doesn’t, come with paddle shifters. Hence, we can safely assume that Tata will offer the new Nexon facelift with the dual dual-clutch automatic transmission from the Altroz hatchback with the addition of paddle shifters. The interior image also reveals a new gear lever for the B2-segment SUV, which also offers the park ‘P’ mode.

According to Tata Motors, the new 1.2L turbo petrol engine produces 125PS of power and 190Nm of torque. The top variants of the Nexon could also offer a higher 225Nm torque output with the new petrol engine.
