2024 Kia Sonet Facelift To Launch Tomorrow | V3Cars

The 2024 Kia Sonet is set to launch in India tomorrow. Kia unveiled the 2024 Sonet facelift on December 14, 2023 and revealed its powertrain options, variants, new body colours and features. Let’s take a look at what the Kia Sonet 2024 has to offer ahead of its launch.

2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Powertrain Options

Kia are offering the Sonet facelift with 6 powertrain options:

  • 1.2L normal petrol with 5-speed manual transmission
  • 1.0L turbo petrol with 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission
  • 1.0L turbo petrol with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission
  • 1.5L turbo diesel with 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission
  • 1.5L turbo diesel with 6-speed manual transmission
  • 1.5L turbo diesel with 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission

Kia have reintroduced the 1.5-litre turbo diesel with 6-speed manual transmission with the Sonet facelift. Check out the engine specifications of the Kia Sonet below:

Kia Sonet 2024 Variants

In terms of variants, there’s only one notable change in the 2024 Sonet facelift: the GTX Plus variant does not get the manual or auto-clutch manual transmission. It’ll only come with dual-clutch (turbo petrol) or torque converter automatic (turbo diesel).

Like before, the Kia Sonet facelift will be offered with 3 interior trims – X Line, GT Line and Tech Line. The X Line trim offers sage green leatherette seats and inserts with an all black interior. The GT Line offers black leatherette seats with white inserts and an all black interior. The Tech Line trim is available with 3 colour options, depending on the variant. The lower variants feature semi leatherette seats with an all black interior, the mid variants get a black and beige semi-leatherette seats with dual-tone interior. The higher variants get black and brown leatherette seats with brown inserts and an all-black interior.

As far as exterior colours go, the Sonet 2024 carries over all existing options in addition to a new olive green colour, which we first saw with the Seltos facelift.

2024 Sonet Facelift Features

The 2024 Sonet facelift retains all the features of the outgoing model. Additionally, it also gets ADAS features and connected tail lamps. In terms of ADAS, it offers the following features:

  • Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (Car, Pedestrian & Cycle)
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Lane Following Assist
  • Auto High Beam
  • Leading Vehicle Departure Alert
