Nissan have launched the 2024 X-Trail SUV in India at a price of Rs. 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2024 Nissan X-Trail rivals premium SUVs such as the Audi Q3, BMW X1, and the Mercedes-Benz GLA in India in terms of price. However, in terms of practicality, the new X-Trail rivals 7-seater SUVs and MPVs such as the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, Toyota Innova Hycross, and the Maruti Suzuki Invicto.

The 2024 Nissan X-Trail is available in a single variant, which is priced at Rs. 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom). Feature highlights of the fully-loaded X-Trail variant include:

The 2024 X-Trail from Nissan is powered by a 1.5L turbo petrol engine with a 12V mild-hybrid system. Power is sent to the front wheels by a CVT automatic transmission.The combined system output of the new X-Trail 2024 is rated at 163PS of power and 300Nm of torque. Nissan claim a fuel efficiency or mileage of 13.70kmpl for the 2024 X-Trail.

The 2024 Nissan X-Trail boasts a length of 4680mm, a width of 1840mm, a height of 1725mm and wheelbase of 2705mm. The X-Trail offers a ground clearance of 210mm. In terms of boot space, the 2024 X-Trail offers 177 litres with all seats in use, 585 litres with the 3rd row folded, and 1424 litres with the 2nd and 3rd row folded. The 2024 X-Trail rides on 20-inch alloy wheels shod with 255/40 tyres.

In terms of price, the Nissan X-Trail rivals luxury SUVs such as the Audi Q3, BMW X1 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA. However, the German SUVs only offer seating for 5 passengers.
In terms of practicality, there are more affordable alternatives to the 2024 X-Trail such as the Mahindra XUV700 7-seater, Tata Safari, Toyota Innova Hycross hybrid, and the Maruti Suzuki Invicto hybrid. The top variants of these SUVs and MPVs are not only Rs. 20.0 lakh - Rs. 25.0 lakh cheaper but also offer more features, including ADAS, and performance.
