Tata Motors have revealed the 2024 Curvv coupe SUV’s petrol and diesel variants alongside the launch of the Curvv EV. The carmaker is set to announce the prices of the Curvv petrol and diesel variants on September 2, 2024. In this article, we take a look at the 2024 Curvv petrol and diesel’s powertrain specs, features and colours, among other details.

In July, we had reported exclusively that the Curvv petrol would come with two 1.2L turbo petrol engines, with the newer engine featuring direct injection. We also reported that the Curvv will not come with Tata’s new 1.5L turbo petrol at launch and that the diesel engine would come with a dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) along with the option of a 6-speed manual transmission. Our reports were accurate as Tata have now confirmed the petrol and diesel engine specs of the 2024 Curvv ICE.
The Tata Cruvv is the first C-segment SUV to offer a diesel engine paired with a DCT transmission. Tata Motors have only revealed the fuel efficiency or mileage figure of the Curvv’s diesel engine (22.4kmpl) so far. We expect the carmaker to release the claimed mileage figures of the Curvv’s other powertrain options in the coming days.
