2024 Tata Safari Facelift

Tata Safari Facelift Spotted With 19-inch Alloy Wheels

Currently, the Safari offers 18-inch alloy wheels on its higher variants. However, rumour has it that the new Safari facelift will offer 19-inch alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design. The alloy wheel design seen in the spy shots seems production-spec thanks to its unique design. If the rumour holds any truth, the Safari will be the first SUV in its class to offer 19-inch alloy wheels, which should improve its road presence.

Tata Safari Facelift Exterior, Interior Changes

Apart from the new alloy wheels, the spy shot also reveals a couple of design changes. The new Safari facelift is likely to offer connected LED tail lights like the ones seen on the Tata Harrier EV concept. Furthermore, the Safari facelift and even the Harrier facelift will carry certain design elements from the Harrier EV concept, such as connected LED light bar and vertically-stacked LED headlights, to name a few.

However, since these are mere mid-life facelifts, the overall silhouette of the SUVs will remain as is and the dimensions are also likely to remain the same as the current models. The big changes could take place on the inside, in the form of a revamped dashboard design and new features. We expect Tata to offer a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster and an improved implementation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Tata Safari Facelift Launch Details

Earlier, we expected Tata Motors to launch the Safari facelift in late 2023. However, since Tata are busy readying the Nexon facelift for an August launch, the carmaker may postpone the launch of the updated Harrier and Safari to early 2024. The Safari facelift will continue to rival other D1-segment SUVs like the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700 and Toyota Innova Hycross.
